Tuesday 17th September
After a day of putting up with boat wash in the main harbour we decided to go farther up the Fowey River to Wiseman’s Reach and then by dinghy up the river at low water to find a good place to anchor.
Having done our dinghy outing to check were the channel was, we had arrived back at Elektra and were waiting for the tide. Then the harbour master arrived to pick up mooring fees, I said we were waiting for the tide to go up the river and anchor, he said the cost is just the same if anchored, so having paid the £54 for three nights we decided to stay put on the mooring in Wiseman’s Reach, a very quite part of the river.
